this organization, which is sending daughter Arianna to Australia this summer for three weeks for
community work, spreading a message of peace. Stan Strickland, Dylan Wolff and Natsumi Malloy also gave their time and
love to this event to support the cause.

About Jeannie
Jeannie Gagné grew up in a musical family and knew from a very early age that she had to sing. She began writing songs, playing piano and guitar in grade school. By the time she was in high school she was working professionally as a vocalist. Her first gig was at age five, in the Tri-Cities Opera in Binghamton, NY.
Associate Professor of Voice at the world renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston, Jeannie is vocalist and songwriter whose performances include work with 5-time Grammy-winner George Duke, opening for Bare Naked Ladies, live performances with commedians Penn and Teller on NBC TV, and singing with classical giant Philip Glass (Passages). Some of the many noted musicians she's played with include Terri Lynn Carrington, Walter Beasley, George Russell Jr., and Berklee President (and drummer) Roger Brown. She has appeared on NPR and PBS and in numerous publications and feature stories in newspapers.
Some of the many talented musicians who have worked on her projects include Shawn Pelton (Saturday Night Live), Stan Strickland, Everett Bradley (star of Swing on Broadway), Adriana Balic (Pink), Marc Shulman (Suzanne Vega, Jennifer Kimball, Shawn Colvin) and Thaddeus Hogarth.
Also a musical leader for the Unitarian Universalist Association, Jeannie coauthored their new hymnal, Singing the Journey (2005) which contains several of her songs and arrangements.
Vision
After twenty years writing and performing rock, blues, jazz, and folk/rock, Jeannie Gagné has embarked on realizing a vision to create concerts that leave everyone feeling inspired. Our world needs all the love we can get, and music is one sure way to spread it. Jeannie is developing a concert model that teaches performers how to understand the impact of their work onstage, and which features a reciprocal experience between audience and performers. A Reiki Master, Jeannie is writing a new book about how to tap into our powerful inner resources to create exciting concerts with intention.
Jeannie is currently undertaking a survey for this work. Click the link above to offer your thoughts about seeing live music. It will only take a few minutes, and your input would be greatly appreciated. With your permission your input will be included in her forthcoming book. Thanks!
"Few vocalists create images and stir emotions merely with the sound of their voice, independent of the subject matter of the song. All the great ones do, and Jeannie does, too."
